Timberland chaparral in foreground consists of Arctostaphylos viscida, Photinia arbutifolia, Ceanothus cuneatus, Rhus diversiloba, Ericameria arborescens. In this type black oak and interior oak are frequent and blue oak and Digger pine occasional. There are down ponderosa pine trees as well as snags in this brushfield.
