Pescadero Creek. Shows character of remnant virgin Douglas fir stand. 38 inch tree in this stand as 180 ft high. In near vicinity second growth tree 55 years old is 112 ft. high. Assoc. species: tanbark oak with occasional redwood and California laurel. Understory shrubs: Vaccinium ovatum, Corylus rostrata var. californica, Holodiscus discolor, Polystichum munitum, Rhus diversiloba, Rubus vitifolius.
