Looking east showing contrast between northerly and southerly slopes of San Gregorio Creek. South slopes grass. North slopes vary from dense woodland of Madrone and Coast live oak to a scrub of Ceanothus thyrsiflorus, Rhus diversiloba, Corylus rostrata var. californica, Rhamnus californica, Holodiscus discolor. There are also thickets of Thimbleberry and brake. Note remnants of former Douglas fir type.
